Port Hope Festival Theatre Summer 2008  welcomes our eleventh year of professional theatre on stage at the Capitol Theatre.  This year we'll be presenting "Buddy, the Buddy Holly Story" and "Anne of Green Gables" as our major musicals along with the ever popular  "Same time, Next Year" and "Educating Rita"  . 

Our 2008 Fall Season is also now set.   This November the Port Hope Festival Theatre will be presenting Forever Plaid - Plaid Tidings which brings back the "Plaid Tidings" crew in a wonderful new Christmas musical.  Then in December we'll be presenting our "7th Annual Christmas Panto", Hansel & Gretel. Filled with comedy, music and mayhem this show has become a family tradition over the years.

Each year our attendance numbers increase.  This is a true testament to the quality of theatre we produce and the appreciative audiences who return with family and friends year after year.  It's heartwarming to see so many familiar faces come through our doors.  Motorcoach business has also seen a dramatic increase in the past few years. All the advertising in the world cannot compete with a satisfied patron. Our goal is to provide high quality entertainment in an environment that offers the BEST customer service anywhere.  We want you to keep coming back.  Remember, the best seats in the house are yours.
