The Capitol Theatre Heritage Foundation has broad community support through paid membership, volunteer support, fund raising, and by endorsement of over 40 organizations representing cultural, business, heritage, recreational, educational, environmental, and service club organizations in the area.

The Foundation has been committed to restoring the Capitol, and its goal of having the theatre function as a first-class performing arts centre, capable of handling the very best in professional theatre, music, cinema, and dance entertainment has finally been realized. The Capitol Theatre is now a vital part of the lakeshore community.
